The Edgar Cayce Readings for Windows
6-22-01
Please, please, please, share these files with at least one other person. I will
explain why this is so important;
This compiled help file contains the entire body of readings conducted by Edgar Cayce.
They were downloaded from the internet site http://www.are-cayce.org/readings/Main.html.
Although they are freely available at the moment, I fear that may change. It looks like
they were intended to be available only to ARE members. Due to an incorrectly configured
web server, they are currently viewable without passing through login security. As soon as
the Webmaster discovers this, I suspect it will be corrected.
I believe these readings are Mr. Cayce's gift to mankind. Those sentiments are echoed by
the editor of these readings on the introductory page:
"His story is really that of a humble man who went on to become
one of the most helpful psychics the world has ever known. The
information in the readings, available to us today, is his gift
to the world."
It is my hope that everyone, regardless of ability to pay, should have access to this
information. That is why I have compiled and shared this help file. My hope is that
I will share it with 2 people, and they will each share it with 2 people, and so on,
and so on... Unfortunately, it appears that people are content to be consumers rather
than contributors.
I have left my computer on each night for the past week. During that time about 15 people
have downloaded the readings. A search on the Gnutella network, (Bearshare, Limewire etc.),
finds not one of these 15 people have shared the readings. I am using a computer from
work to share these files, and I will not be able to continue that indefinitely.
If you find any value in the information contained in these readings, please contribute
to the process of distributing these files. If you share your copy with only one other
person, that will start a chain reaction that will ensure these readings are available to
anyone who needs them for a long time to come.

P.S. These help files were created with the following shareware or evaluation copies of software:
WebZip
Search and Replace 98
FAR Help Compiler
BTW: You will find many missing links in these files. They are due in large part to errors
in the original HTML files. I believe 99.9% of the actual readings are intact in this
help file. If the original author of this information comes across this document, I would
recommend he use the FAR Help Compiler to regenerate this file from the original documents.
FAR produces a document containing invalid references that will be invaluable in identifying
errors. Of course there are many other commercial and shareware programs that will check a
web site for invalid link references. Should you need to contact me, share a file called
"Edgar Cayce Readings [some other text].txt". I will probably see it and download it.
